U.S. News & World Report has released its annual rankings for America’s Best High Schools, and once again Honeoye Falls-Lima High School has been honored as one of the top high schools in the nation!

For 2025–26, HF-L High School is ranked #3 in the Rochester Metro Area, #72 out of more than 1,200 high schools in New York State, and #691 out of nearly 18,000 in the nation. The school also earned recognition as #226 among STEM High Schools nationwide. HF-L received an overall score of 96.14/100.“These results reflect the pride that the HF-L community has in both education and children,” said Superintendent Gene Mancuso. “The district uses data to inform instructional decisions and is just the right size to really get to know its students and help them explore the possibilities that await them. We truly believe in a growth mindset and continuous improvement, and we trust the processes we have in place to support every student, every day.”

In third place for the Rochester Metro Area, HF-L is close on the heels of Pittsford Mendon (#1) and Pittsford Sutherland (#2), while leading ahead of Brighton (#4) and Victor (#5) to round out the top five.

This recognition is a testament to the outstanding teachers, staff, students, and families of the Honeoye Falls-Lima Central School District.

Congratulations to the entire HF-L community on this achievement!
